<1>Macintosh/IIgs [tm] printing font types are FON or $C8 in hexadecimal form. While they work well with TIMEOUT SuperFonts [tm] within Appleworks 2.0 [tm] on the IIe/IIc and with many IIgs type word processing and graphics programs, they are not accepted by Publish It! [tm]. This is because its font types are IMG or $F7, and it error-traps any others out. The $F7 fonts do work with Superfonts, however.
Heavily modified from a more extensive work by Jim Mensch of Cupertino, California, this program changes file types between $C8 and $F7, modifying only the file type data, not the file itself. The font disk must NOT be write-protected. Work only with a BACKUP disk of your fonts, PLEASE! The program gives you instructions as you go.
Sample fonts are included on the disk for your study - only a few of several hundred Public Domain $C8 fonts available. Four 3 1/2 inch disks cost a total of $12.00 + shipping (if you're a member, or know someone who is) from:
